artist statement
I have always been fascinated with capturing distinctive tree shapes curling and twisting their way upward and silhouetted against the sky. Here, I especially loved the contrast between the stark, bare tree shapes and the hint of bright sun peeping through.

lisa wright (she/her/hers) is a freelance content creator/writer/book reviewer and (very) amateur photographer. she was a bartender for over 15 years, traveling a meandering and often self-destructive path toward her current role as an aspiring full-time writer. In her spare time, she likes to read, write, cook, bake, watch British panel shows and foreign-language crime dramas, and have her heart broken by the Philadelphia Phillies.
