katie davis is a college freshman attending the university of iowa. her work has been recognized by youngarts, as well as published in havik magazine. katie doesn’t have any pets of her own, but a good friend of hers does have a madagascar hissing cockroach named renesmee, and from time-to-time she feeds it sandwich crusts.
