chelo diaz-ludden (she/her) holds a masters in english from san diego state university. she enjoyed teaching ESL in california, then moved to the middle of nowhere in colorado, where she enjoyed both teaching english at trinidad state junior college and fighting wildland fires as a volunteer. she has published short stories, among them, “someleze’s children” in mosaics: a collection of independent women, which is currently available on amazon. she also won honorable mention in the writer’s digest 2021 mainstream/literary short story category for “the thirteenth song”. when not writing or reading, she plays with clay.
